Use this glow-in-the-dark phosphorescent powder by mixing it with a medium to illuminate everything in your life. Great for making glow-in-the-dark art, teaching how germs propagate, and more.
Instructions:
Step 1: Mix
Mix glow powder with a medium (try nail polish, acrylic paints, slime, soap, etc.) Use a ratio of 2 parts medium to 1 part powder. You may want to increase this ratio for the brightest glow and use a clear or pale medium. When applying, use a white base for the best effect.
Step 2: Charge
Charge the powder by leaving it in the sunlight or under a UV lamp.
Step 3: Glow
Put it in the dark and enjoy the glow!
What happens?
The phosphors in the powder absorb energy from UV light and then release this energy as light.
