Anhydrous nutrient plates for simple microbiological analysis of solutions and dry matter.
Compact Dry plates made by NISSUI are suitable for detection and enumeration of microorganisms from foods and feeds, cosmetics and pharmaceutical samples, as well as for hygiene monitoring and contamination control in food-producing areas.
Compact Dry plates are easy and safe to handle. Due to storage at room temperature, they may be used even on site. One millilitre of the sample to be analysed is applied onto the sterile plate surface, spreading itself evenly over the plate during rehydration of the medium. Dry sample matter is homogenised and solubilised using the Compact Dry Dilution Rack (Art. No. 4823.1) prior to plate inoculation. AOAC- MicroVal-, and Nordval certified.
Safely stackable and with a 1 x 1 cm grid for easy evaluation.

Set for the identification of minerals in the Bunsen burner flame through the characteristic flame colouring of the salts in the “flame test”.

Our flame test kits also contain 10 magnesia rods and a wooden clamp for better handling. This provides the materials needed to demonstrate the flame colours of six different metals. During combustion, the metal or semi-metal ion contained in each chemical gives the flame a characteristic colour.

Toepassingsgebieden:
  • Dip the magnesia rod into diluted hydrochloric acid (not included in the scope of delivery)
  • pick up some of the salt with the moistened magnesia rod
  • Hold the end of the rod with the salt in the swooshing burner flame
Gebruiksinstructies

If necessary, burn out the magnesia rods in the burner flame. The flame must be colourless. Otherwise there will still be residues of chemicals from previous experiments.

Hygicult TPC (Total Plate Count) is ontwikkeld om betrouwbare, efficiënte en tijdbesparende microbiologische hygiënecontroles uit te voeren.Een meting kan worden verricht door middel van dippen van de dipslide in het product of vloeistof, drukken op oppervlakken of aanbrengen met een swap.Het handvat is de houder voor de dubbelzijdige platen zodat er minder kans op ongewilde besmetting is en twee analyses per tubus mogelijk zijn.Bij iedere set zit een kleurenkaart waar de testresultaten mee te interpreteren zijn.Drie maanden houdbaar indien droog en donker bewaard.
